On September 25th, 2019, during the United Nations Climate Summit in New York City, climate justice and women’s rights activists introduced our set of collective feminist demands to help advance the Green New Deal. A broad coalition of activists, representing a range of organizations working on climate, environmental, immigrant, racial, economic, and gender justice, launched the Feminist Green New Deal Coalition in their first press event. The Principles of the Coalition’s work were collectively generated over the summer, and you can see the full list of organizations who developed and endorsed the Principles here.
